Erica Grimm
Erica Grimm is Associate Professor and Chair of the Art + Design Department, School of the Arts, Media, and Culture at Trinity Western University. She is an artist whose drawing practice remains at the core of her work. Through drawing, she inquires into embodiment, extending the meaning of body (and drawing) over a variety of materials and signifiers. Represented in galleries across Canada, she has had over 25 solo exhibitions and is in numerous private and public collections, including the Vatican Art Collection, Canada Council Art Bank, and the Richmond Art Gallery. She was the 2002 Distinguished Nash Lecturer at the University of Regina, the First Prize recipient of the Imago National Juried Art Competition, and a Distinguished Alumna from the University of Regina (2002).
